Dr. Katherine Au (“Dr. Katie”), is Lawrence Park Health’s Clinic Director and an experienced Toronto Chiropractor. She has a combined professional experience of 26 years in the health and fitness industry, with over 10 years as a Toronto chiropractor and 17 years as a personal trainer, strength and conditioning specialist, and fitness coach.
Dr. Katie graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Kinesiology, prior to pursuing her degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has completed her Fellowship in Chiropractic Rehabilitation Sciences in Toronto, distinguishing her as an exercise and physical rehabilitation specialist chiropractor. Dr. Katie is also credentialed in Contemporary Medical and Neurofunctional Acupuncture from McMaster University and is currently studying to be a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto. Most recently, she has also completed certifications as a Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture practitioner, as well as Mei Zen Fertility and Abdominal / Digestive Health Acupuncture practitioner.
Dr. Katie is a certified Toronto Active Release Techniques Soft Tissue Treatment (ART®) provider in Spine, Upper Limb, Lower Limb, and Long Tract Nerve Entrapments, a movement-based soft tissue technique that treats injuries as well as overuse conditions, restores function, strength, range of motion and optimizes performance. She is also a certified Level 2 provider of Graston Technique (GT®), an instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization enabling the effective breakdown of scar tissue, fascial restrictions and treatment of other acute and chronic injuries.
As a complement to her manual therapy skills, Dr. Katie is an experienced Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a L1 National Coaching Certificate holder, and a Traditional Chinese Medicine Qi Gong & Tai Chi practitioner. She has extensive experience working with a wide array of individuals from infants to seniors, prenatal and postnatal mothers, recreational and professional athletes, office workers, physical labourers and individuals with special abilities. Dr. Katie has a special interest in the rehabilitation of sport- and repetitive strain-related injuries, as well as exercise pre/re-habilitation for the aging population, including osteoporosis and fall prevention. She is also certified in infant and paediatric chiropractic care, with expertise in treating pregnancy related pain, offering Webster Technique like therapy for moms with breech positioned babies, treatments to help resolve infant torticolis, help reduce colic related symptoms, spinal scoliosis, and providing wellness care to ensure young babies, kids and adolescents meet and exceed their proper growth and neurological milestones.
Dr. Katie has always been passionate about fitness, healthy eating and living well, which is what inspired her to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. She enjoys being an active member of her community and is involved with the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Ontario Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Liaison, Special Olympics Canada, the Toronto Sport and Social Club and the Running Room. As both a coach and multi-sport athlete herself, Dr. Katie understands the cyclical challenges and triumphs of training, proper nutrition, competition, injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Dr. Katie utilizes a movement-based, functional approach when working with her patients and clients. She incorporates advanced neuromusculoskeletal assessments and functional movement screens with traditional orthopaedic testing in order to diagnose and treat not only the area of complaint, but the root cause of the problem. As a Chiropractor who is also a personal trainer, Dr. Katie has a unique knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy and exercise physiology, which allows her to seamlessly implement manual therapy, training and exercise rehabilitation treatment programs to improve functional ability, core stability, strength, power, and endurance. Patient education, preventative stretching / strengthening exercises, precise hands-on treatment, physical rehabilitation, nutrition and ergonomic advice are key elements of Dr. Katie’s practice as she works with her patients to exceed their health, wellness and performance goals. Dr. Allie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She was the recipient of the Mark A. King Memorial Award for outstanding proficiency in the field of diagnostic imaging as well as the Harold Beasley Award for Excellence in Jurisprudence. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, and is also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Exercise is Medicine® Canada (EIMC) practitioner through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP). Dr. Allie is an SFMA Certified practitioner focusing on functional movement assessments. She is a Certified First Responder with the Canadian Red Cross and has experience with on-field and sideline care for sports teams. Dr. Allie believes in living a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle. She is very active and loves sports, especially soccer where she has competed at the international level. She has a passion for travel and has had the opportunity to visit almost every continent – she was even selected as one of 13 interns to participate in a chiropractic outreach in the Dominican Republic during her final year at CMCC.
Dr. Allie loves working with patients of all ages and abilities! She has had the opportunity to work with everyone from elite athletes (both as a Student Athletic Trainer for the women’s Varsity Rugby team at Western and as a Team Host for the Chilean Blind Soccer team at the Parapan Am Games in Toronto in 2015) to weekend warriors to office workers and those with chronic pain and several comorbidities. She uses a functional approach tailored to each patient to get people back to doing what they love. In addition to her strong manual skills (adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy), Dr. Allie uses active care as an integral part of her treatment plans in order to get you stronger, happier and healthier. She will progress through rehab with you in the clinic and send you away with homework to maintain and build on the the progress made together.

Clarence obtained a Master of Physiotherapy Studies degree from the University of Queensland in Australia in 2011. Prior to that, he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in 2008. Clarence has certifications in manual therapy and myofascial soft tissue release. He recently completed Level 2 of the Upper Quadrant and Lower Quadrant certifications from the Orthopaedic Division of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, a myofascial soft tissue release course taught by Tom Myers, the originator of Anatomy Trains Myofasical Meridians, and a Robin McKenzie Method (MDT) course focusing on the lower back. Clarence is looking to add to his educational repertoire by taking courses on post-concussion management.
Clarence enjoys treating a wide variety of injuries, especially the neck and shoulder, but also has a special interest in post-operative care – in particular – rehabilitating individuals after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs, meniscal repairs, Achilles ruptures, arthroscopic repairs of the hip/shoulder and fractures of the upper and lower extremities. He is well versed in post-surgical rehabilitation and will do whatever it takes to help you meet your short and long-term goals.
As well, he regularly provides in-home physiotherapy care in the uptown Toronto, Yonge and Eglinton, Lawrence Park, Forest Hill and Leaside areas, for individuals with limited mobility or general de-conditioning, usually after surgery or extended hospital stays. He has extensive experience restoring mobility and strength for seniors after falls and total hip and knee replacements.
As an experienced Toronto physiotherapist, Clarence believes in providing an active approach to treatment. She completed the accredited Humber College diploma program, has a Dalhousie University Bachelor of Science Degree and CanFitPro Certificate for Certified Personal Trainers. Lauren is passionate about rehabilitation and fitness training and applying her knowledge to the application of exercises to increase muscle strength, tone, posture and balance in every individual.
She has a background in competitive varsity volleyball for the Dalhousie Women’s team and experience in high performance training. This background can be utilized towards your specific needs and level of training and rehabilitation desired. She is experienced in older adult fitness training and preparing a program for maintenance of strength, prevention of osteoporosis and teaching fall safety for seniors in the home and community. As a Toronto Athletic therapist, Registered Kinesiologist strength coach and personal trainer with over 10 years of experience, Khanh believes that building efficiency and resiliency in the body are goals that must be attained in any fitness and health program. After completing a Bachelors of Physical and Health Education Degree from the University of Toronto, Khanh continued to pursue his career in health and athletic performance. He became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) in order to distinguish himself from other Kinesiologists and strength coaches. With his extensive educational background, Khanh is able to bring knowledge from both the therapy and performance perspectives in the field of health and athletic performance. He separates himself from others in the field by constantly pursuing specialized continuing education courses, seeking and learning what works from other professionals around him and around the world.
Khanh currently works with athletes and highly motivated recreational athletes. He is an Athletic Therapist with the Stoufville Junior A hockey team and a Strength and Conditioning Coach with various Dragonboat teams within the GTA.

Emily is currently in her third year at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, although her passion for chiropractic started long before. A Calgary native, she grew up dancing from a young age, and began seeing a chiropractor throughout her training to help deal with a variety of injuries. After seeing first hand how beneficial and integral chiropractic care was as part of her health, it ignited her passion of health of wellness. After completing 3 years at the University of Calgary in her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology with a minor in Commerce, Emily moved to Toronto to begin her journey into the chiropractic world. When she’s not studying (which is rare!), Emily loves practicing yoga, heading out to do some hiking in the GTA, and as of recent, hanging around on aerial silks!
