Why Choose a Lawrence Park Health RMT?
At Lawrence Park Health and Wellness Clinic, all of our Toronto RMTs are practitioners that are fully registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). This means our therapists are qualified, registered professionals who have completed a diploma program at a recognized school of massage therapy and have also passed a registration examination by the CMTO. This distinguishes our RMTs from the average masseuse, who is simply an unregulated individual providing massage.
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage Therapy is a comprehensive intervention used to treat a variety of conditions through various forms of soft tissue manipulation and gentle joint mobilizations. The purpose of massage therapy is to prevent, rehabilitate and enhance physical function, while relieving pain and promoting optimal health and well-being. It is a clinically-proven health modality that achieves undeniable results in the relief of an array of conditions stemming from stress, acute injuries (macro-trauma), overuse injuries (micro-trauma) and many chronic pain syndromes. Many people seek Massage Therapy after injury or surgery or to treat discomforts such as: neck pain, back pain, pulled muscles, joint pain, pregnancy related conditions, arthritis, headaches and migraines. Massage therapy not only promotes relaxation and relieves muscle tension and pain, it can also improve blood flow, promote proper lymphatic drainage, boost your immune system, relieve pressure on nerves, and restore normal joint movement. Massage therapy is safe for individuals of all ages, including pregnant women and seniors.

What can I expect on my first visit?
Prior to your treatment, you will meet with your RMT to complete and review your confidential health history form. A brief assessment will follow, which may include, but may not be limited to, range of motion and special testing, depending on your primary concern(s). Your RMT will then discuss your treatment with you, providing you the opportunity to ask questions. Upon your consent to treatment, the therapist will allow you to disrobe in private. Our therapists respect your privacy and will ensure you are properly and professionally draped at all times during your treatment. Treatment will commence for the allotted time.

Aaron Prodanovic, Toronto Registered Massage Therapist
Pressure: Medium to Deep Tissue Massage Therapy
Aaron is a graduate of the prestigious Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He has experience working as a therapist at numerous marathons, sporting events, fundraisers, and various other community outreach events. Aaron specializes in scar tissue work and fascial therapy. Aaron is calm, kind, caring, and professional in his approach. He prides himself on educating and working one-on-one with his patients to create specialized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs, goals and expected outcomes. Continuing education plays an important role in Aaron’s goals as a massage therapist. He believes in taking regular courses to stay up to date in the most recent research and treatment styles, in order to ensure ongoing growth in strengthening his ability to treat, functionally test, and create treatment plans to help his clients reduce pain, reduce stress, improve mobility, reduce injury/wear and tear of job/sport/life-related dysfunction, all in order to bring a healthy normal back to those who have personal health setbacks.
