Fall Favourite Immunity Boosting Teas
Fall is right around the corner! I can’t think of a better way to welcome sweater weather than with a strong and healthy immune system. A hot cup of immunity boosting tea is my absolute favourite fall accessory. Ingredients such as lemon, honey and ginger found in your favourite fall teas all share countless health properties which can help prepare your body to fight off colds and infection. I’ve created a list of some of my favourite cold prevention and treatment remedies in hopes of sparing a few readers from a case of the sniffles.
Ginger and Lemon Tea
Steep grated or sliced ginger in a hot cup of water. Squeeze a lemon wedge into the hot water and ginger concoction. Add a teaspoon of honey for sweetness and enjoy!

Chai Tea
This tea is a blend of black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, black pepper, clove and fennel. When blended together, these herbs can boost the immune system, fight bacteria and reduce inflammation.

Matcha Green Tea
Matcha tea is a form of green tea which contains higher, more concentrated volumes of the same immunity boosting ingredients found in regular green tea. The tea is full of antioxidants and medicinal compounds that can fight viruses and bacteria.

Hot Water or Tea With Honey
Honey can be added to pretty much any tea or hot beverage. It has so many wonderful health properties. Be mindful of the quantity of honey you are using in your teas and liquids. While it is a natural source of sweetness, it still contains a high amount of sugar. A small amount is all you need to experience the positive health benefits of honey consumption.
