A great whole body workout that challenges your core and improves coordination and muscle endurance. I recommend checking out The Hub Climbing in Markham for their vast array of climbing routes for top rope and bouldering.

2) DJ Skate Nights @ Harbourfront Centre

Too old for clubbing? Bust out your dance moves on a Saturday night at the Natrel Rink down at Harbourfront Centre instead to get your weekly dose of cardio. The lineup this year again includes local and international DJs.

3) Polar Bear Dip [Toronto]

Willing to brave the cold and test the frigid waters of Lake Ontario? The Polar Bear Dip [Toronto] is an annual tradition where participants dash into Lake Ontario on New Year’s Day. Sounds fun right? Proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity so it’s also for a good cause!
